Movie Review: Ponyo

Inspired by the story of The Little Mermaid, comes the classic, Ponyo. When Ponyo (the biggest fish out of her siblings) runs away from home, she meets a boy named Soske, who rescues her from a jar. After licking Soske’s blood, she shows a true liking in him. She soon becomes human after being captured by her father and runs away again to find Soske. She gets her wish later on and becomes human forever. After watching this movie, you will find that every child is special. 

Movie Review: My Neighbor Totoro

      From the small glitz of Alice in Wonderland to the evergreen story of Peter Pan comes beautiful movie called My Neighbor Totoro. Follow Satsuki and her four year old sister, Mei, into a tree in the countryside, in which they met the spirit named Totoro. This story is a true delight for people who love stories. It is a story about the bond between family and imagination. The girls meet fascinating creatures, such as a cat shaped bus that can be only be seen in the eyes of children. After you watch this movie, you will see that we all have a heart of a child, no matter how old you are.
