Dewdrops of the sun
fall on to the forest trees.
Warmth on a human's back.
Animals graze slowly,
as if time
doesn't exist.
Smells of wildflowers.
Dirt and mud cake the ground.
The aroma of rain and leaves,
add to freshness.
The sound of the river
trickles slowly,slowly.
Birds communicate in
soft singsong.
Green, brown, blue
a hint of red and yellow
along with orange.
A mountain
Hides beneath
a blanket of mist.
The forest of serenity
untouched except
from those who care.
