Hello again, my dear friends. - A letter to my past.

Hello my friends. It has been so long since I last paid this blog a visit. Blowing off the dust and seeing my visions from when I was a child to now is a journey I did not expect. Over the past decade, I dedicated myself to writing short poems and short stories. Some were full of love and happiness, while others took us to the trenches of teenage sorrows. Here I am now, at age 23, with a journey that is still ongoing. In 2011, I wrote a piece called "Destination, Tokyo." It was definitely full of stereotypes and was too short. This year, I actually did fulfill my life long dream and went to Japan for about two months. Both the countryside and the cityside - and such wonderful experiences they were. No, I did not have a house with goldfish. However, I did find nine new families to visit. My fascination with this beautiful country is still there and I was not at all disappointed with the wonderful experience I had. Japan, however, is only one of the many countries I got to explore. In the last few years I have been to India, Nepal, Canada, China, Mexico, Turkey, and Costa Rica. And all have been wonderful experiences. I also got the oppurtunity to travel across the many states here in America. My life itself has been a road trip of its own. We had freeways to race and road blocks. Red lights, green lights. Bumpy roads with curving twists and turns. But somehow, this decade I persevered. Graduated highschool, dropped out of two colleges before finding the right one. And I am still working my way up. Found new friends, got rid of some old ones. Life happens. Through these trials, one thing has remaind consistent. I have never stopped writing. Even if I was not here, the ghost of this blog has kept me prescence. I am now pursuing an English degree and I continue to write and read on a daily. Thank you for following me on this journey. Perhaps, I shall come back to update this blog soon - after all, I could never say goodbye.
